An exhibition of work by Enniskillen artist, Jill Mulligan, opened at the Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen on Friday 27 January 2017.

The solo exhibition, ‘Interpretations of a landscape’ is a collection of paintings that depict Co. Fermanagh’s diverse landscape.

Speaking about her work, the artist describes her aim as ‘creating compositions that capture mood and atmosphere that is quintessential to Fermanagh’.

Jill won first prize in the 2015 1 FT SQ exhibition at the Higher Bridges Gallery and was awarded the opportunity to hold this solo exhibition at the Gallery.

Jill has also exhibited across the island of Ireland and Scotland. Jill’s work is also on display at Gallery1608 in Bushmills, Co Antrim.

‘Interpretations of a landscape’ continues at the Higher Bridges Gallery until Saturday 25 February 2017.

The Higher Bridges Gallery is located in the Clinton Centre, Belmore Street, Enniskillen. It is open Tuesday to Friday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. Admission to the gallery is free.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will mark Human Rights Day on Monday 11 December by illuminating Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, orange.
