Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is illuminating Enniskillen Castle purple on Thursday 21 April 2016 to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Enniskillen Castle will be lit purple as part of Enniskillen Rotary Club’s activities to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday. Other Enniskillen Rotary Club activities will include a Birthday Beacon event organised in conjunction with local churches and an interdenominational service of thanksgiving at St Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen, both taking place on the evening of 21 April.

The lighting up of Council buildings to mark specific days of significance is one way in which the Council may provide support to a particular charity.

Enquiries regarding illuminating Council properties and charity support should be made to Louise McLaughlin, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Community Services team, by telephoning 0300 303 1777 or emailing louise.mclaughlin@fermanaghomagh.com.
