Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has launched its annual multi-sports and summer activity programme.

It will offer children and young people from across Omagh and Fermanagh the opportunity to get active and have fun this summer thanks to a range of activities available across the district.

Speaking at the launch of the programme, the Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Stephen McCann said “the Council is committed to creating opportunities for children and young people to lead a healthy and active lifestyle and the 2018 summer activity programme has so much to offer our young people.

The range of facilities being used will also ensure that more of our young people will have the opportunity to get involved and I encourage parents and guardians to take advantage of these extended opportunities. The programme offers a wide selection of activities across the district which will help to keep children and young people entertained during the summer holidays while at the same time developing new skills, make new friends and have fun.”
