Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has organised two workshops to take place in December to help businesses consider the Risks, the Challenges and Opportunities associated with Brexit.

The first workshop will take place at the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen, on Friday 8 December 2017 from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

This workshop is organised in partnership with Enniskillen BID Ltd and will include key note speakers from the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs; Ulster University; the Federation of Small Business; and InterTrade Ireland.

The second workshop will take place on Wednesday 13 December 2017 from 1.15pm to 4.00 pm at the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh with confirmed keynote speakers from the Centre for Cross Border Studies; Irish Central Border Area Network, and InterTrade Ireland.

Both workshops are free to attend however registration is essential.

Encouraging people to attend the forthcoming Brexit workshops, Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Stephen McCann, said:

“Fermanagh and Omagh District Council recognises that Brexit will have implications for both our citizens and businesses and as such the Council has organised these two workshops to help people start to prepare for them.

These workshops are designed to increase awareness of research which has been undertaken and business support initiatives which may be available. There is also a slightly different focus to both events and I would encourage you, where possible, to attend both events.
