Published: 23rd May 2016

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is illuminating two of its properties purple on Friday 27 May 2016 to mark Children’s Hospice Week (23-29 May 2016).

Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh will be lit purple on May 27 as part of Horizon West Children’s Hospice activities to raise awareness of and show support for local children’s hospice services.

Horizon West Children’s Hospice is based in Killadeas, Co. Fermanagh, and provides respite services and care to children with life limiting illnesses and their families.

The lighting up of Council buildings to mark specific days of significance is one way in which the Council may provide support to a particular charity. Enquiries regarding illuminating Council properties and charity support should be made to Louise McLaughlin, Community Services, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council by telephoning 0300 303 1777 or emailing louise.mclaughlin@fermanaghomagh.com.
