Published: 8th February 2017

A business networking event for female entrepreneurs will take place at The Ardhowen in Enniskillen on Friday 24 February 2017 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

The free event, ‘Enterprising Women’s Room 101’ has been organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in association with the Network for Enterprising Women (NEW) to provide local female entrepreneurs with the opportunity to network, share business knowledge and experiences and to hear from guest speakers.

Speaking about the networking event for female entrepreneurs, Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Mary Garrity, said:

“Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to supporting entrepreneurship in the district and is pleased to work in partnership with the Network for Enterprising Women to host this event.

“This event will provide locally based female business owners and budding entrepreneurs with the opportunity to meet likeminded women and share knowledge and ideas with the potential of doing business with each other either on the day or after the event. I encourage businesswomen to sign up to this opportunity.”

Teresa O’Loughlin, Chair for the Network for Enterprising Women, said:

“We are delighted that Fermanagh and Omagh District Council are producing a business event that will get attendees thinking about what they would put into their Business Room 101. We have a programme of excellent speakers who will share their knowledge, experience and stories in starting and running their own business. From “How you can make 2017 your best year yet” to “Preventing a social media melt down” attendees are sure to leave this event with real added value to their business.”
