Amber weather warning for wind: Thur 14 June 2018

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for wind from 04.00 Thursday 14 June until  09.00 Thursday 14 June 2018.

Household bin collections
Due to the current Met Office amber weather warning for wind we are asking residents not to leave their bin out for collection overnight.  Please present your bin for collection by 7am tomorrow morning for those whose bins are normally collected early.

Please note: a yellow weather warning for wind will remain in place until 15.00, Thursday 14 June 2018.

Council sites & parks
Some Council sites including parks may remain closed tomorrow morning (Thursday 14 June 2018) for safety checks after the high winds.
