The Halloween Spooktacular

For many hundreds of years no one dare enter the Marble Arch Caves through fear of what may be lurking in shadows beyond the reach of daylight. Through generations stories of witchcraft, magic and roaming spirits shrouded the caves in myth and legend with few brave enough to explore the underground labyrinth beneath the earth. Imagine what went through the minds of the first explorers who ventured into the caves, capturing the first glimpses of the of the cave by flickering candle light with eerie echoes following them on their journey.

Well now is your chance to follow in their footsteps and take one of our special Halloween tours with a spine-tingling twist! Dust off your scariest Halloween costume and join us for an underground, nail-biting and hair-raising Halloween experience. Bring along your family and friends and join in the fun on a spooky adventure which is sure to be one you’ll never forget.

Each tour will encounter the ghost of Edouard Martel, the Wheathill Witch, Murray the Moses Walk Monster and their spooky companions as our guides take them through the famous Marble Arch Cave system. This is a special event, for both young and old, with a variety of activities for all children in our eerily festooned visitors centre.

Tours will operate from 10:00am – 4:00pm throughout each day, and to secure a place we strongly recommend you book in advance by calling our MAC Team on +44 (0) 28 6632 1815. This event is weather dependent. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
