Enniskillen Christmas Lights Switch On

Enniskillen town centre will light up with family fun and sparkle on Saturday 23 November with a programme of Christmas music, carols and festive entertainment throughout the day before the Christmas Lights Switch on at 5.30pm.

It is promised to be a magical day out with fun for all the family. On the main stage in the Diamond, Enniskillen we will have choir carol singing from St Paul’s Primary School, Irvinestown and Bunscoil An Traonaigh, Lisnaskea. Following that, Ballyreagh and St. Mary’s Silver Bands will perform to ease you all in to the Christmas spirit.

Take part in the Elf Trail and follow the clues around the town centre to locate each of the Elves to enter the draw to be in with a chance of winning Enniskillen Gift Cards. Children can also enjoy festive face painting and meet the Christmas characters walking about.

The award winning Knights Band will take to the stage and play classic Christmas songs along with a mix of their lively folk music set. There will also be a special appearance from the Snow Sisters – Elsa and Anna, who will be singing your favourite Frozen songs.

Ibe Sesay from Q Radio will entertain with festive music and games while everyone waits for Santa’s arrival through the town on his wonderful Christmas Train at 4.30pm. The Q Crew and Q Man will be mingling among the crowd taking photos for the Q Radio Facebook page and giving you the opportunity to win goody bags.

Santa will meet and greet everyone and interact with the children as they are entertained on the main stage. The Christmas Lights Switch on will take place at 5.30pm. A designated viewing area of the stage entertainment and performances will be available for people with disabilities. Booking essential.

Please note, traffic diversions will be in place for this event from 4pm -6pm

The annual Enniskillen Christmas Craft and Food Fair will once again take place in the Townhall / Diamond area on Saturday 30 November from 10.30am – 5.00pm.

A range of food and craft delights will be available on the day along with festive family street entertainment and live music.

Enniskillen will be filled with festive cheer on Saturday 14 December 2019 from 12noon – 4.00pm with the Santa Dander in the town centre. Families will enjoy free street entertainment alongside the treasure hunt activity around Enniskillen. Participants will receive goodies for taking part and all returned activity sheets will be entered into a draw to win a special prize.
