Belleek Regatta is the celebration of 200 years of Cot Racing in Fermanagh. Ten teams with three mixed sex crews in each cot will compete against each other for the Fred Ternan Trophy. A Junior event will also take place this year for the first time.
A number of other events and demonstrations will take place around the Regatta including Kayaking, Archery, Dragon Boat Racing, and heritage demos like soda farl making and basket weaving.
The event starts at 12 noon with the first junior races and the senior races planned for 2pm.
Many of the events including Irish Country Music and Traditional Irish Music will be on from 12 to 4pm
A Belleek and Castle Caldwellphotographic exhibition including Railway memorabilia will take place in the Wark Hall from 12 to 4pm. This will be hosted by John Cunningham, Joe O’Loughlin and Selwyn Johnson.
A selection of vintage cars will also be on display during the day.
