‘New Connections – Explorations During the Pandemic’, a collection of original oil paintings by Omagh artist Paul Crozier, opens in Strule Arts Centre, Omagh at 7pm on Thursday 1 September 2022.

This solo exhibition will be opened by the Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Barry McElduff, and all are welcome to attend.

Paul tells us: “The inspiration for the artworks emanated from the Covid-19 pandemic and a strong urge to create positive and energising works in the midst of global uncertainty. This series reflects the desire to seek connections with natural surroundings, animals and other people during the unpredictable twists and turns of a global pandemic.”

He goes on to explain how he “explores the complexity of relationships and human interactions, communicating stories through unrestricted brushstrokes in a playful interaction between different textures and colours.”

Paul will give a free guided tour of the exhibition at 11am on Friday 23 September 2022, which is also part of the Culture Night 2022 programme.

The exhibition runs until Saturday 24 September 2022, 9.30am-5pm Monday – Friday. Admission is free.
