Live audiences return to Strule Arts Centre with a laugh courtesy of Neil Delamere

After almost 18 months of theatres being closed to live audiences, Strule Arts Centre is delighted to welcome patrons back to the auditorium and what better way to do so than with the Master of Stand up, Neil Delamere, whose reputation was built on his quick-witted appearances on a myriad of panel shows and his hilarious live stand-up tours. Neil brings his Pick n Mix tour to the Strule Arts Centre auditorium on Friday 13 August at 8.30 pm.

With “Some old, some new, and plenty of messing,” comedian Neil Delamere is just the ticket our live audiences have been waiting for.

The seating in the theatre has been arranged cabaret style to ensure social distancing where guests can sit in tables/bubbles. A limited number of single seats will be available for each performance (in the balcony), tickets will be sold in tables of 2, 4 and 6. Tickets will be sold for the maximum number of seats available at that table/bubble. Up to six people from single or mixed households are welcome to sit together.

The performance will be 90 minutes straight through with no interval. Table service will be available before and during the performance. Tickets are priced at £22 per ticket and are available to purchase from www.struleartscentre.co.uk. Following the success of Kevin Hurson and the Miracles Band live stream from The Strule Arts Centre in March, The Miracles band are very excited to kick off Live Music again at Strule Arts Centre with a one off unique performance. Playing a range of hits across all genres, the Miracles are sure to lift the spirits and set the tone as Strule Arts Centre Welcome back many more performers and visitors to Omagh in the Heart of Tyrone.

Local man Joseph McVeigh, a regular on the pub circuit, has been knocking on the door of fame for a number of years with spine-tingling covers that have been known to go viral. Joseph has performed all over Northern Ireland and has performed at Madison Square Gardens before Belfast boxer Michael Conlon’s professional debut in New York City. Joseph has recorded both covers of classic tunes and original material to wide online acclaim. We are delighted to welcome Joseph McVeigh to Strule Arts Centre Omagh for his debut headline theatre performance, Saturday 21 August at 8.00pm, £10 per ticket.

Saturday 28 August, 8pm Omagh’s very own Orlaith Furey and Band will be the highlight of the Bank Holiday weekend. Welcomed with open arms onto the country music scene in 2018, Orlaith has hit the ground running, performing in many venues throughout the country specialising in Social Dancing as an independent performer Orlaith has put her home village of Plumbridge on the map!

The young singer has a wealth of experience and has a Bachelor of Music degree from Ulster University and she has used the skills acquired to sculpt her dream of performing country music to fans across the country.

Performing live with talented musician and singer Sean Kerrigan, complimented with Jonathan Milligan on pedal steel and lead guitar, the night is sure to put the bounce back in your step! Tickets are priced at £10.
