Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is hosting a new exhibition, ‘INSCAPESMiniatures of the Mind’ by Michael Reinardy which will open on Thursday 7 November in Strule Gallery, Strule Arts Centre at 7.00 pm.

After a busy life of work within Camphill Communities, and life changing heart surgery in 2017, Michael Reinardy experienced ‘the shock of an inner dam burst’ which led to the discovery of a new freedom.

As the outer contours of his life changed, unexpected inner landscapes revealed themselves. He found new ways of expressing traditional means of representation.

This exhibition is a diary of his on-going voyage of discovery, exploring new ways of expression, a pictorial diary of that inner dam burst experience.

Speaking about the exhibition, Michael said: “I do not paint what I see, but I see what I paint. I like to share these experiences and thank the special needs companions of my life for getting me to this point.”

The exhibition runs until Saturday 30 November 2019.The Gallery is open from 9.30 -5pm, Monday – Saturday and admission is free.
