Inclusive Archery Programme launched at Omagh Leisure Complex
20th December 2017
A free 10-week Inclusive Archery programme aimed at young people aged 8 to 17 will commence at Omagh Leisure Complex on Tuesday 16 January 2018.
The free sessions, organised as part of the Council’s Inclusive Leisure programme will be delivered by fully qualified staff. Two sessions are available, 4pm – 4.45pm and 4.45pm – 5.30pm.
Speaking about the forthcoming programme, the Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Stephen McCann, said:
“Being physically active is important for health and well-being. Involvement in physical activity from a young age can help develop and encourage life-long participation in activities which will support a healthy and active lifestyle. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to facilitate this programme as part of its Inclusive Leisure initiative”
Places on the Inclusive Archery programme are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Participants must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or carer for the duration of each one hour coaching session.
