Fermanagh and Omagh Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has launched a new online edition of its popular “Helping our Communities Stay Safe” booklet.

The community safety resource, which contains a range of information and advice on community safety including crime prevention, youth matters, diversity, hate crime and the law, is available to view online by visiting the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council website or Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP’s facebook page.

Launching the new online edition of the ‘Helping Our Communities Stay Safe’ booklet, Councillor John McClaughry, Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP Chairperson said:

“Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP has produced an updated version of our popular ‘Stay Safe’ booklet.  This booklet has a wealth of information designed to give people the information to keep themselves safe whether it is protecting your home against burglary or driving at night.

With Covid-19 restrictions reducing our opportunities for face-to-face community engagement we have produced an online version of the book.  This online book includes links to video resources and the many organisations which carry out work which enhances community safety.

This new resource allows us to reach a much wider audience and allows people to get direct access to many resources which will help the community stay safe.”

The new online “Helping our Communities Stay Safe’ booklet is available to view on the Council website at www.fermanaghomagh.com or via Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP’s facebook page @FermanaghandOmaghPCSP.

Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP aims to make communities safer. It does this by focussing on crime, policing and community safety issues that matter most in the Fermanagh and Omagh district.
