Fermanagh and Omagh District Arts Forum seeking to appoint new members

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is looking to appoint a number of dedicated volunteers to serve on the Fermanagh and Omagh District Arts Forum for a three-year term.  The purpose of the forum, which comprises individuals and Councillors, is to provide support to Officers of Fermanagh & Omagh District Council on matters related to the arts.

Forum members will have the opportunity to shape the Council’s approach to the arts within the district by providing advice and support in the development of the arts, including programming, venues, projects and funding.  The Forum will meet quarterly with meetings anticipated to last two hours.

If you are aged 16 or over, actively engaged, knowledgeable about and interested in the arts, and is prepared to work as a part of a team and are responsible, reliable and committed, then Fermanagh and Omagh District Arts Forum could be for you.  Individuals nominated to serve on the Forum must also be willing to support Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Equal Opportunities and Good Relations commitment.
