Fermanagh and Omagh Community Planning Partnership has published its first Statement of Progress setting out what the partnership has achieved to date in working to improve public services and support a better quality of life for all in our district.

While the Plan runs to 2030, significant progress has already been made since its publication in 2017, such as securing the designation of our district as an ‘Age Friendly’ District; ongoing increases in the uptake of physical activity programmes aimed at improving health and wellbeing; 480 referrals made from the Fuel Poverty programme to other agencies including the ‘make the call’ team to ensure full uptake of benefits; the creation of 3 new visitor experiences which have been internationally market tested by Tourism NI; alongside hosting the district’s first Disability Festival.

The Community Plan sets out a long-term partnership approach towards improving some of the most significant societal issues such as planning to meet the needs of a growing older population, addressing health inequalities, providing more and better quality jobs and encouraging citizens to have a positive impact on our environment.
An interactive Statement of Progress was agreed by the Community Planning Strategic Partnership Board on 22 November 2019 and can be accessed at http://bit.ly/FO2030StatementOfProgress.
