Council to light up Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre in memory of George Floyd

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will illuminate Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, yellow on Monday 13 July 2020 in memory of George Floyd who died in tragic circumstances in Minneapolis, USA.

Speaking on behalf of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Council Chairman, Councillor Chris Smyth, said:

“Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to promoting equality and good relations for everyone in the district. The lighting up of Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre allows us to publicly remember George Floyd and to show that racism has no place in our society.”
