Council to illuminate Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre green on St Patrick’s Day

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will illuminate Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, green on Sunday 17 March 2019.

Enniskillen Castle will be lit up green on behalf of local charity, Project St Patrick, as part of their St Patrick’s Day festival in Enniskillen which is supported by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and will commence at 1:30pm on 17 March at the Broadmeadow.

The Strule Arts Centre will also be illuminated green for Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Omagh which are based around the theme of, ‘The Land of Saints and Scholars’ and kick off at 1:00pm in the town.

The lighting up of Council buildings to mark specific days of significance is one way in which the Council may provide support to a particular charity.
