Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will be illuminating Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, in May in support of local charities.

On Saturday 12 May 2018 Enniskillen Castle will be illuminated purple in support of Enniskillen Rotary and Rotary International Foundation’s fundraising campaign ‘End Polio Now’. The campaign aims to eradicate polio, a serious viral infection which is still found in some parts of the world today.

On Monday 14 May 2018 both Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre will be lit blue in support of Action Hearing Loss NI and Deaf Awareness Week (14 – 20 May 2018). The campaign aims to encourage employers to better support employees with hearing loss and to promote the services provided by Action Hearing Loss NI to people with deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss in Northern Ireland.
