Council invites expressions of interest from groups who wish to take part in the St Patrick’s Festival 2021

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from constituted community, arts, sports, cultural, heritage, linguistic and other groups from across the district who are keen to take part in this year’s St Patrick’s Festival by organising an event or activity.

The 2021 St Patrick’s Festival will be much different from previous years and smaller in scale and all proposed activities will be very much governed by restrictions in place at the time of the festival as a result of Covid-19.

This year’s St. Patrick’s Festival will run from Friday 12th March to Wednesday 17th March 2021. Events or activities may be online, in person or a combination of both however all events will be subject to Covid-19 regulations regarding social distancing and other necessary restrictions in place at the time of the festival.

Events suitable for consideration include performance, either music, dance, singing or storytelling, a fun exercise or activity, artwork, community online arts and crafts and photography.

Community based events and activities will form part of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s virtual St Patrick’s Festival 2021. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will support up to a maximum of 30 events or activities across the district with financial support of up to £250 per proposal.
