Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has confirmed that the Connect Centres at County Buildings’ Enniskillen and Strule House, High Street, Omagh will reopen to the public with a reduced service initially, from Monday 27 July 2020.

The Connect Centres, which have been closed since the end of March 2020 due to the fallout from the Covid-19 will be open from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.

The reopening of both Connect Centres marks another step in the return to a new normal, as the focus of the delivery of Council services switches to recovery.

An additional and welcome development will see the Connect Centre in Omagh be home also to the visitor information centre while the Strule Arts Centre remains closed. Visitors/tourists will be able to avail of the full range of advice from the team, for those who are visiting and for locals looking to enjoy a staycation at home in the district

Due to social distancing protocols, measures have been put in place at both facilities to ensure the health, safety and well-being of staff and visitors alike and access to the buildings will be controlled by staff.

The Council would ask that members of the public please adhere to directional signage in place at the Connect Centres to facilitate queueing and maintaining social distancing.
