Council commissions Residents’ Survey for 2021

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to evidence-based decision-making and as such the Council is undertaking a Residents’ Survey to gauge opinion a range of topics, including:
- Services delivered by the Council
- Customer experience
- Communications and awareness of the Council
- Your local area
- Health and Wellbeing
The Council has commissioned Social Market Research Ltd (SMR) to deliver the survey which will be undertaken by telephone. A sample of 1,000 households have been selected. Social Market Research Ltd will be conducting interviews by telephone for a 4-week period commencing on Monday 18 January 2021.
Speaking about the Residents’ survey, the Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Diana Armstrong, said;
“Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to continuously improving the service it provides to the residents of the district. This is the second such survey to be undertaken by the Council and the outcome will provide the Council and its partners with information on how residents assess their local area, the Council’s performance on a selection of areas and to collect information that will provide key indicators of the wellbeing of residents that are not available elsewhere.
I would encourage residents in the sample to avail of this opportunity to have their say by participating fully in the survey.”
SMR is a fully accredited market research agency and all interviewers are highly trained. All interviewers will be able to provide the name of a contact person in the Council should you wish to contact them directly.
Taking part in the survey will provide residents with an opportunity to provide feedback on Council services. Your responses will be anonymous and confidential, and your rights are protected under GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
