Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will illuminate Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, on two further dates in November to highlight events taking place during the month.

The Strule Arts Centre and Enniskillen Castle will be lit blue on Thursday 14 November 2019 as part of World Diabetes Day in conjunction with Diabetes UK Fermanagh Branch and Omagh Area Diabetes Support Group and on behalf of The British Diabetic Association operating as Diabetes UK.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will then light Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre blue on Tuesday 19 November 2019 in support of International Men’s Day. Celebrated in more than 80 countries, the day promotes positive male role models; celebrates the contribution men make to society and raises awareness of men’s health and wellbeing.

Earlier this month, the Strule Arts Centre and Enniskillen Castle were lit up teal on Thursday 7 November as part of the Light the World in Teal campaign to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease.

The Strule Arts Centre will then be illuminated purple on Monday 25 November 2019, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Home-Start Omagh.
