The St Patrick’s Day Festival returns to Enniskillen on Thursday 17 March following a challenging two-year hiatus to mark this worldwide day of celebration.

This year’s programme, delivered by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in association with Enniskillen BID and other local venues, will bring Enniskillen town centre and Enniskillen Castle alive with an exciting day full of music, dance and entertainment planned for all the family.

Market stalls and food vendors will be open from 10 am in Enniskillen Castle to kick off the festival with entertainment scheduled from 12 to 3pm in the ‘Big Top’ at Enniskillen Castle and from 12 to 4pm at The Diamond in Enniskillen town centre. A fun-filled day is planned for all the family with live music, traditional dancing, street characters, incredible hospitality and much more on offer to ensure there is something for everyone on this day of celebration.

With both traditional music and dance performances from Rosslea Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, and Erne Highland dancers, and local performances by St. Mary’s Silver band, Cavanaleck Pipe Band, Country Features, Cathy Mc Govern, and Fermanagh Concert Band already scheduled, the Island Town will be resonating to the Sound of Music.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to see the return of the St Patrick’s Day Festival and looks forward to the Island Town of Enniskillen joining other locations worldwide to mark St Patrick’s Day in dance, song and celebration
