While venues remain closed to the public, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to bring you live entertainment online as part of the “Christmas from Strule Arts Centre” programme.

Strule Arts Centre is thrilled to offer a variety of music and entertainment virtually throughout the approach to Christmas through its inaugural online programme.

Following the success of the first two “live and local” events Strule Arts Centre is delighted to present three festive favourites over the next few weeks. The REAL Princess NI Snow Sisters will be live on Saturday 5 December 2020 performing a selection of festive classics and stories. Catch them on Strule Arts Centre facebook page at 3.00 pm.

No Christmas season at Strule is complete without Tom Sweeney’s Christmas Cracker and this year Tom will be back live and online with his seasonal show of festive fun on Saturday 12 December which will be broadcast live on Strule Arts Centre’s facebook page commencing at 3.00 pm.

Saturday 19 December will be a big day for our younger audiences when none other than Santa Claus himself will be popping in to say hello, wish everyone a happy Christmas and read a few magical seasonal stories. As part of the live broadcast, Santa Claus will try to say hello to as many children watching from their own home as possible.

“The live and local” element of “Christmas from Strule Arts Centre” continues on Saturday night with the  very talented Cool Hand String Band who will perform live from Strule Café at 8pm this Saturday 5 December.

The “live and local” programme provides the opportunity for the public to support and encourage the local musicians who have been deprived of performing to audiences for so long.  Not only have the bands missed performing, we have certainly missed seeing and hearing them live, you will not want to miss this!

Follow Strule Arts Centre face book page for all the details.
