Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is organising a free inclusive walk to encourage members of the public to get out and active as part of its Autumn activity programme.

The walk will take place on Thursday 25 October 2018 from 10 am – 12 noon at Omagh Leisure Complex.

The inclusive walk is dedicated to those with disabilities and is wheelchair accessible, however, wheelchair users will require assistance along various lengths of the route and elements of the walk have a slight incline.

Speaking about the forthcoming inclusive walking event, the Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Howard Thornton, said;

‘It is important that we all ensure that we take care of our physical and mental welI-being and this walk offers an ideal opportunity to get out and get active this autumn at Omagh Leisure Complex. I would encourage members of the public to participate in this walk and embrace the great outdoors. The walk will also provide an opportunity to socialise with other walkers.’

Places on the inclusive walk are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
