ASPIRE aims to support Graduates’ from Campus to Career

 Fermanagh & Omagh District Council’s ASPIRE Employability Programme, is offering graduates’ seeking employment the opportunity to avail of free training and career planning support. The programme is designed to provide graduates with access to one-to-one careers consultations to identify ways to enhance employability through training and/or the facilitation of a work experience placement in a range of career/job roles.

Graduates will be provided with a free tailored package of support to include a range of accredited training opportunities such as First Aid and ICT for User Skills with further support provided in Interview Preparation, Job Searching, completing application forms and CV Development.

Focused on preparation for employment, graduates’ will learn how to optimise their opportunities for success in a competitive market.

Speaking about the programme, the Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Siobhán Currie, said: “In response to the current challenges faced by graduates, ASPIRE has developed the Graduate element of the programme to boost employment prospects for newly qualified professionals.

The training which is designed to ease the transition from university to employment, will offer graduates’ practical guidance and individual support in their conquest to secure employment in their area of expertise.”
