Crime Prevention

Fermanagh and Omagh Policing & Community Safety Partnership hosted a Crime Prevention Event at CKS Community Centre in Omagh on Wednesday 11 January 2017 .

Exhibitors from several statutory agencies delivered information and advice on a variety of initiatives such as property marking schemes, Neighbourhood Watch, car crime, domestic burglaries and bogus callers.  There were a number of stalls in evidence on the day and Officers from the local policing team took the opportunity to talk to the many individuals who called in on the day.  PCSP Officers were also available and distributed a variety of information and some useful crime prevention tools to individuals.  There were also representatives at the event from Victim Support and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive who were on hand to offer advice and assistance to affected residents.

People attending were provided with free practical advice, information and support on a range of crime prevention and community safety issues.  All the exhibitors witnessed a busy afternoon with a wide variety of queries being dealt with by the Officers concerned.
