Water Pollution

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency’s Water Quality Inspectorate is responsible for the investigation of pollution of watercourses and coastal waters as well as protecting the many rivers, streams and lakes in the province.

NIEA also monitor the quantity and quality of underground water.
