Roof Top Museum at Strule Arts Centre

The Roof Top Museum represents the first steps towards a museum collection for Omagh and the surrounding areas.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Museum team have put together an interesting first collection, which includes archaeological artefacts from an excavation that took place in Alanagh, a townland outside Carrickmore in 1979.  Also on display are some toys from the past which includes a remarkable carved wooden clown doll with a hand painted face, a children’s newspaper and a tinplate clockwork aeroplane.

The Roof Top Museum opening times are 9.30 am until 5.00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Admission is free.
