12 – 27 May 2017

SWC ArtClass F017

Fermanagh & Omagh District Council welcome back the South West College annual student exhibition of Fine & Applied Arts to the Higher Bridges Gallery.  Bold, vibrant and subtle are just some of the words that could be used to describe the excellent work that will be on display at this year’s South West College art exhibition. Located at the Higher Bridges Gallery “currently” housed in the Clinton Centre, this year’s event will feature a number of unique vibrant pieces, all produced by budding local artists.

This exhibition show cases the up and coming talent of the next generation of “artists” prior to their departure to degree courses, here and further afield.

The college is renowned for its success at developing and allowing the young talent to expand their skills and to provide the opportunity to exhibit in a professional way. These students have been accepted onto degree courses of their choice and this is a wonderful chance to see their raw talent and energy.

This forthcoming exhibition has something for everybody, multimedia, fashion with live models, installation works, textiles, graphics, print and Fine Art paintings.

There will be something to delight the eye for all and challenge thought but you can be assured, of a wonderful night of talent, professionalism, colour, exuberance and variety.

The exhibition will open on Friday the 12th of May at 7pm and will close on Saturday 27th May.

Gallery opening hours:  Tuesdy – Friday 10:00 – 16:00 & Saturday 11:00 – 15:00
