Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Public Services Centre, Omagh is temporarily relocating to the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on Tuesday 29 August 2017 while refurbishment works take place at its current premises on 16 High Street, Omagh.

Access to the Public Services Centre at the Strule Arts Centre is from High Street, using the entrance to the Strule Arts Centre located between current Public Services Centre and the Ulster Bank. Opening hours for the Public Services Centre at the Strule Arts Centre are Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 1.30 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Public Services Centre services will continue to operate fully at the Strule Arts Centre. These include the renewing or applying for a dog licence; point of contact for Council dog warden; payment of Council invoices; booking a bulky item collection; providing information on waste and recycling and taking enquiries relating to Council services.

Free compostable liners for brown food waste caddies, registration forms for births, death, marriages and civil partnerships and application forms for grant aid and blue badges will also be available from the Public Services Centre reception at the Strule Arts Centre.

The Public Services Centre is temporarily relocating to Level 2 of the Strule Arts Centre to enable refurbishment work to take place at its current premises.

These works will include the creation of a ground floor customer service reception and self-service area for the public with office accommodation for various Council services located upstairs. This will ensure that the Council’s public facing services are easily accessible to the Council’s service users going forward.

The Council’s Planning department and Building Control and Licensing service will continue to operate from 16 High Street, Omagh during the refurbishment works. Members of the public wishing to speak to Council officials from these service areas should make their way to the entrance of Omagh Chambers, located to the side of the 16 High Street building.
