Omagh and Enniskillen will provide a feast of fun this weekend as both towns provide a fun packed afternoon to celebrate the end of the school holidays.

Visitors to Omagh on Friday 25 August and Enniskillen on Saturday 26 August can enjoy a fun filled afternoon of entertainment, featuring music, street entertainers, face painters and balloon modellers between 12 noon and 4.00 pm.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council would like to extend a warm welcome to shoppers, holidaymakers and visitors to the district on what promises to be a great weekend with the Harvest Country Music Festival also taking place in the district.

The Council wishes you all a thoroughly enjoyable visit and hopes you will return time and time again and sample the warm welcome which awaits. Both towns offer a range of boutique shops and multi national retailers together with a multitude of coffee shops and restaurants in which shoppers can sample the local produce for which the district is renowned.

The Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Stephen McCann said ”Town centre events organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council such as Summer Fun Weekend to aim to promote Omagh and Enniskillen as lovely places to visit, shop and enjoy. We strive to welcome many visitors, locals and shoppers as we are proud to display the of what our two largest towns have to offer”

Summer Fun Weekend promises to be an afternoon for the whole family to enjoy and everyone is assured of a warm welcome.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
