A community art showcase entitled ‘Little Mountain Arts’ opened at the Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen, on Friday 4 March 2016.

The exhibition of community arts development work has been produced by local communities from the Sliabh Beagh mountain area – which straddles counties Fermanagh, Tyrone and Monaghan – in association with Sliabh Beagh Arts, and celebrates the nature and joy of rural art.

Sliabh Beagh Arts was set up by Sliabh Beagh Development Association more than 10 years ago. Since then Sliabh Beagh Arts, which is coordinated by Donna Bannon, a Textiles graduate from Co. Fermanagh, has created opportunities for people from the area to participate in quality arts activity.

The exhibition runs at the Higher Bridges Gallery until Saturday 26 March 2016. Admission to the gallery is free.

The Higher Bridges Gallery, which is located in the Clinton Centre, Belmore Street, Enniskillen, is open Tuesday to Friday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.

For further information about the exhibition please contact Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Arts Office by telephoning 0300 303 1777 or emailing artsoffice@fermanaghomagh.com.
