Omagh Policing and Community Safety Partnership alongside, Omagh Safer Streets Ltd have secured funding to offer the current F District BUSINESS WATCH text alert service for free to local businesses in the District of Omagh.  All businesses have to do is complete a registration form and return it to the address provided for the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

The aim of Business Watch is to help businesses protect themselves and their property, and to reduce the occurrence of business crime by:

  • Increasing real and perceived security for customers and employees
  • Providing mutual help and support between members
  • Providing crime prevention/awareness training for staff
  • Improving contact with local Police Officers including Crime Prevention
  • Improving communication through development of a business communications network

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
