Shaping the Local Economy Business Seminar

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is hosting a lunchtime Business Seminar in the Ardhowen Theatre, Enniskillen at 12 noon on Tuesday 20 June 2017.

The seminar forms part of the Council’s sponsorship of Ulster University’s Economic Policy Centre.

Dr Eoin Magennis, Senior Economist at the Policy Centre, will deliver a presentation on Shaping the Local Economy which will look at the global economic and political drivers and the future direction of the local economy. The presentation will use the Spring 2017 Northern Ireland and Local Government forecasts to illustrate scenarios for the local economy in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

The presentation will also incorporate both the Council’s Tourism Development Strategy and Economic Development Plan 2016-2019. Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
