Relocation of Council’s Building Control and Licensing Services, Omagh

Published: 7th April 2017

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Omagh-based Building Control and Licensing Services are officially relocating from their offices at the Grange to the High Street Building, 16 High Street (to the rear of the Public Services Centre) on Monday 10 April 2017.

There will be no changes to service provision as a result of the relocation to the High Street premises and all telephone and email contacts will remain unchanged. Opening hours for the Building Control and Licensing departments will also remain as normal, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The Council is anticipating a smooth transition to the new location. However, if members of the public experience any difficulties in contacting either Building Control or Licensing over the next few days, they are asked to contact the main Council Offices at 0300 303 1777 where their details will be taken and conveyed to the relevant Officers to respond.

Members of the public who wish to speak with Building Control surveyors or Licensing staff in person are asked to report to the reception area of the Public Services Centre where they will be directed to the appropriate meeting area.

The relocation of both Building Control and Licensing services to High Street is a very welcome step towards ensuring that the Council’s public- facing services are easily accessible to all our service users going forward.

Members of the public are advised that they should contact 0300 303 1777 or email buildingcontrol@fermanaghomagh.com for further information.
