One Day Irish Course in The Patrician

A one-day Irish course will be held in The Patrician Hall, Carrickmore on Saturday 28 May from 10am – 4pm.  This course, which is being organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, will offer classes for four levels of Irish learners, those who are at beginner, improver, intermediate or advanced level.

From people who are looking to engage with the language for the first time to people who are fluent in the language, this course will offer an excellent opportunity for people to improve their proficiency.  The course itself is free while lunch, from 1 – 2pm, can be purchased locally.

The teachers for the course are all local Irish language activists who are fully qualified and experienced teachers.  These are Maria Boden (beginners), Michaeline Donnelly (improvers), Sinéad Ní Mhearnóg (intermediate) and Malachy Mc Namee (advanced).

For more information on the course or to book a place, contact Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Irish Language Officer Kevin Goodwin, tel: 028 8225 6220 or email: kevin.goodwin@fermanaghomagh.com .
