Final preparations for the Enniskillen 10k Road Race and Leisure Walk, which takes place on Saturday 13 June 2015, are currently underway.

Organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and supported by Enniskillen Rotary Club and the National Trust, the Enniskillen 10k Road Race and Leisure Walk will start at 2 pm at the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, Enniskillen.

Motorists are advised to expect some traffic delays from 2 pm along the 10k route which will initially bring participants from Fermanagh Lakeland Forum through Enniskillen to the National Trust’s Castle Coole estate.

On leaving the estate participants will make their way around the Killyhevlin Industrial Estate and move on to the Ardhowen Hill, Derrychara playing fields and the Millennium foot bridge over the River Erne to cross the finish line at Fermanagh Lakeland Forum.

The Enniskillen 10k event will kick off at 11 am with free children’s entertainment, including face painting and bouncy castles, at Fermanagh Lakeland Forum. At 12 noon there will be a children’s fun run, suitable for children all ages, on the grass playing fields beside Enniskillen Castle.  Entry to the children’s fun run is free and registration is not required.

The Enniskillen 10k Road Race and Leisure Walk will start at Fermanagh Lakeland Forum at 2 pm.
