Tyrone GAA Senior Football Manager, Mickey Harte, will be in conversation with local sports journalist, Paddy Hunter, at a special event on Wednesday 25 January 2017, 7.30 pm at the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh.

The event has been organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council as part of its ‘What’s Your Game?’ Club and Coach Education Programme, which aims to promote excellence in local sports.

Tyrone’s most successful and decorated Manager will be in conversation on the night with local sports journalist and GAA enthusiast, Paddy Hunter.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to step into the world of an inter-county GAA Manager as Mickey will give an insight into his life and experiences in the sport.

Mickey has led Tyrone to three All Ireland titles, five Ulster Championship titles, one National League title, and nine Dr. McKenna Cups. Tyrone are the current Ulster Champions and the Anglo Celt Cup will be on public display as part of the event at the Silverbirch Hotel on the evening of Wednesday 25 January 2017.

The 2016-2017 ‘What’s Your Game?’ Club and Coach Education Programme provides a range of education and training programmes for sports clubs and coaches at a reduced cost. Forthcoming programmes include Skills for Sport, Autism and Sports Coaching, Strength and Conditioning Masterclass with Joe Gallanagh, Safeguarding Children and Young People, Emergency First Aid for Sport and Designated Safeguarding Children’s Officer.

We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review.
