Launch of Irish language events and activities programme

A programme of Irish language classes, activities and events for the coming year will be launched at a public event at the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on Wednesday 7 September 2016 at 7.30pm.

The programme will include details of Irish language events, classes and activities, organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, which will take place from now until next spring across the district.

The launch event will include traditional music from Omagh’s McAnenly family and a talk from the newly appointed Irish Language Office for Glór an Tearmainn  and Pobal Ar A’n Iúl, Michaeline Donnelly. Everyone welcome, light refreshments served.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
