The popular Tráth na gCeist agus Cóisir na Nollag (Christmas Quiz and Party) took place in Omagh’s Strule Arts Centre on Wednesday 16 December 2015.

Organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Irish Language Unit, each quiz team had at least one Irish speaker to interpret questions and provide answers in Irish so people not fluent n the language could take part.

The McClean family came out on top to win Strule Arts Centre gift vouchers. A number of spot prizes were also awarded to participants throughout the evening.

After the quiz entertainment was provided by Ray Moore, keyboard; Declan O’Kane, fiddle; and friends with set and sean-nós dancing, singing and a number of party pieces.
