Irish classes and activities resume in Strule Arts Centre

A programme of Irish language classes and cultural activities organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will resume in Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on Wednesday 6 April 2016.

A 10-week Irish language course, which will cater for beginners, improvers and advanced levels of learners will take place from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm. The 10-week course costs £25.00.

The popular sean-nós and set dancing class in Strule Arts Centre will also run for 10-weeks from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The class is open to all levels of dancers and is a fun and sociable way to way to get active and keep fit. The course costs £20.00.

The singing in Irish group also resumes on Wednesday 6 April from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The free weekly activity proves to be an effective and enjoyable way of learning Irish. New members to the group are especially welcome.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
