The Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen, will host the 8th annual Christmas art exhibition, ‘1FT SQ’ from Friday 11 December 2015 to Saturday 23 January 2016.

The exhibition, which will showcase a diverse collection of artwork one foot square in size, will be officially opened at the gallery on December 11 at 7.00 pm by Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Thomas O’Reilly.

In the autumn, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council issued an open call to the arts community to exhibit in this year’s 1FT SQ exhibition.  More than 60 artists from Ireland and the United Kingdom have submitted artwork for exhibition which includes painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, film and sculpture.

Everyone is welcome to attend the exhibition opening on Friday 11 December at the Higher Bridges Gallery at 7.00 pm.  The exhibition will then continue until Saturday 23 January 2016.

The opening times of the gallery are Monday to Friday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. The gallery will be closed over the Christmas period from Wednesday 23 December 2015 and will reopen on Tuesday 5 January 2016.

Admission to the gallery is free.
