Economic Development Plan workshops will take place across the district in September and October 2015

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has appointed RSM McClure Watters (Consulting) Ltd to develop an Economic Development Plan for the period 2015-2019.

In developing the Plan, the Council is keen to consult with representatives from the local business communitybusiness organisationsbusiness agencies and local community/voluntary organisations at any of the four scheduled workshops:

  • 23 September 2015 (6.30 pm – 9.00 pm) – Ecclesville Centre, Fintona
  • 29 September 2015 (2.00 pm – 4.30 pm) – Town Hall, Enniskillen
  • 30 September 2015 (2.00 pm – 4.30 pm) – Strule Arts Centre, Omagh
  • 1 October 2015 (6.30 pm – 9.00 pm) – Castle Park Centre, Lisnaskea

Each workshop will last approximately two hours and will provide an ideal opportunity for you to put forward your views and help shape the future economic development of the area.

The Council views this consultation as an important element in the development of the Economic Development Plan and this series of workshops will also contribute to the Community Plan being developed for the district.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
