Free one day Irish language course for adults and students

A free one day Irish language course will take place in St John’s College, Dromore, on Saturday 9 April 2016 from 10 am – 4 pm.

The Irish language course, organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, will include classes for adult beginners, improvers and advanced learners of Irish with tutors Anne Flangan; Maria Boden and Caoimhín Goodwin respectively.

There will also be classes in Irish specifically for GCSE and A Level students to help them prepare for their upcoming exams.  These classes will be taken by Máirtín Ó Gormlaithe and Malachy Mc Namee.

The Irish language one day course is just one of a number of classes and workshops organised as part of the Dromore Trad Fest which runs from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 April.

Cúrsa Gaeilge Saor in Aisce do Dhaoine Fásta agus Scoláirí GCSE agus Ard Leibhéal

Beidh cúrsa Gaeilge aon lae a reáchtáil ag Aonad na Gaeilge de Chomhairle Fhear Manach agus na hÓmaí Dé Sathairn 9 Aibreán ón 10r.n. – 4i.n. in St John’s College, Dromore, Co Thír Eoghain.  Beidh sé seo mar pháirt de Trad Fest Dromore ina mbeidh réimse d’imeachtaí ceoil agus cultúrtha ar siúl.

Beidh ranganna Gaeilge ann do fhoghlaimeoirí fásta ag bun, meán agus ard leibhéal.  Aine Uí Fhlanagáin, Maria Boden agus Caoimhín Goodwin na múinteoirí a bheas i bhfeighil na ranganna sin.  Beidh ranganna ann fosta do scoláirí Gaeilge GCSE agus A Leibhéal mar pháirt den chúrsa seo.  Seans é seo do na scoláirí ullhú lena gcuid scrúdaithe i mbliana.  Máirtín Ó Gormlaithe a bheas mar mhúinteoir don rang do scoláirí GCSE agus Malachy Mc Namee a bheas i mbun an ranga A Leibhéal.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
