Are you 50 or over? Do you want to improve your physical fitness? Fermanagh and Omagh 2030 Community Plan aims to ensure ‘Our people are healthy and well – physically, mentally and emotionally’. The Fire Fitness 50+ Pilot Programme is a unique opportunity for both male and female participants aged 50 and over, developed by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

The six week physical activity programme is focused on fun circuit based fire fitness exercises, tailored to all ranges of ability to help improve levels of physical activity.
Other partners including Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Sport NI, Public Health Agency, Cancer Focus, PSNI and the PCSP will enhance the physical element of the programme, providing useful health information on key issues at each session.

All six sessions will be held at Omagh Fire Station, 1 Killybrack Road, Omagh BT79 7DG. The Programme will commence on Wednesday, 26th April 2017 from 10.30am until 12.00 noon (and every Wednesday thereafter for six weeks) We have only 20 places, participation is free, however places are limited and it will be on a first come, first served basis.
