Event to improve understanding of religions and cultures

A free half day workshop to help people develop a greater awareness and understanding of religious and cultural diversity will take place in the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown on Tuesday 15 November 2016.

The ‘Yours Faithfully’ workshop, which is organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, will include a range of topics to help individuals and organisations to be clear about their values, behaviours and ways of working which are core to building strong and positive relationships across all faith traditions in Northern Ireland.

The workshop will be delivered by Diversiton – a not for profit organisation that is dedicated to inclusion and creating opportunities for all – and will take place during National Inter Faith Week (13-20 November 2016).

The event has received financial support from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Good Relations Programme, assisted by the Executive Office.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
