Seminar

Published: 27th January 2016

A funding seminar for organisations operating in the cultural, creative and heritage sectors will take place in Enniskillen on Wednesday 24 February 2016 at 3.00 pm.

Hosted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in The Higher Bridges Gallery, the seminar will highlight funding opportunities available to organisations through Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme.

Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme supports cooperation and exchange between arts, culture and heritage organisations across different European countries.

The funding programme supports a diverse range of creative and cultural projects across art forms including visual arts, dance, theatre, literature, performance, music, heritage, architecture, design, circus, festivals, craft, fashion, art networks, social enterprises and those who work in the wider creative and cultural industries.

Working in collaboration with other European partners, groups of organisations can apply for grants of up to €200,000 for Small Cooperation Projects or up to €2 million for Large Cooperation Projects.

Shauna McNeilly, Creative Europe Desk UK – Northern Ireland, will deliver the seminar and explain the opportunities available through the programme. Shauna will also offer advice on developing a strong project and application, and provide case studies of funded projects in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.

Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme is open to organisations that are active in the creative, cultural and heritage sectors and have been legally established for at least two years.

Creative Europe Desk UK – Northern Ireland is based at the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and offers free information and advice to potential applicants. Applicants can also book a one-to-one meeting with Shauna after the seminar.

The seminar is free to attend, however booking is essential. To register please visit http://www.creativeeuropeuk.eu/events/creative-europe-culture-seminar-enniskillen-northern-ireland.
